Today, technology is part of nearly every aspect of our lives, including our cars. Navigating all of it can be a bit daunting, but your local Nissan dealership has put together a list of four innovative tech features in the 2025 Nissan models.

Four Innovative 2025 Nissan Tech Features Available at Your Local Nissan Dealership

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Nearly all 2025 Nissan models come with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as a standard feature. Some models, like the 2025 Nissan Rogue, will let you connect to these systems wirelessly via Bluetooth. If your device is not Bluetooth compatible, you will need to use a USB cable.

Wireless Charging

Select models and trims, like the 2025 Nissan Murano, come with a device that lets you charge your smartphone wirelessly. No longer will you have to carry around a clunky portable power pack or an easily tangled USB cord. All you need to do is place your device on top of the inductive charging pad (located in the front of the cabin for the Murano), and it will begin to charge.

MyNissan App

The MyNissan app lets you control your vehicle directly through your smartphone. It features secure and smart technologies, such as remote climate control, remote engine start/stop, and the ability to add up to four additional drivers while on the go. The app will also let you know if you’ve left your doors unlocked or your windows cracked. In addition to vehicle control, the MyNissan app gives you access to a monthly vehicle health report that evaluates battery life, engine performance, tire pressure, and other general maintenance items. You can also keep track of your service history, schedule maintenance, and access waranty information.

Nissan Connect

There are several packages available for Nissan’s self-service technology system, NissanConnect. While most vehicles come with a few built-in NissanConnect features that don’t require a paid subscription, such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, you will have to pay a monthly fee to use the more advanced options like Sirius XM (though a 3-month subscription is included with a qualifying new Nissan purchase). Nissan also offers several in-vehicle apps through NissanConnect, such as the Nissan Digital Owner’s Manual and the Nissan SignatureFLEX Lease app. These programs can be easily downloaded and managed through your vehicle’s infotainment touchscreen. The owner’s manual will give you maintenance tips and other manual details, while the SignatureFLEX Lease app lets you add miles to your lease if you do not own your Nissan.
